Nexus Letter Direct exists to do a single thing: connect a veteran who needs an independent medical opinion with a physician qualified to write one, and to do it without the practices that have given this industry a reputation.
Why this exists
A market that earned its reputation
Veterans seeking nexus letters encounter a predictable set of problems. Services that promise approval they cannot deliver. Prices quoted only after someone has assessed how badly you need the document. Letters produced from templates by providers who never read the file. And the quiet certainty that whatever the evidence shows, the letter will be favourable, because that is what was paid for.
Adjudicators notice. When letters from a particular source are always favourable regardless of the underlying evidence, they are weighed accordingly — and veterans with genuinely strong cases pay the price for the weak letters around them.
We built this service on the opposite premise. The physician reviews the file first and can decline. The price is published. The process is the same for everyone. That is not a marketing position; it is what makes the document worth submitting.
The physician decides, not us
No one on the business side reviews, edits, or pressures a medical opinion. The physician who reads your file reaches their own conclusion and signs their own name to it. If they decline, that decision stands.
One price, published
The price is on the website. It does not change based on how complex your file turns out to be, how quickly you need it, or how strong your case looks. Quoting case by case invites charging more to veterans who want it most.
We say no out loud
Declining a case costs us the balance and risks a bad review. We do it anyway, because a favourable opinion from a source that never declines is worth nothing to the adjudicator reading it.
Nothing sold, nothing shared
Your records are used to write your opinion. They are not sold to claims agents, shared with law firms, or fed to advertising. Every access is logged.

Purchasing an independent medical opinion does not guarantee any particular VA decision, disability rating, or effective date. The VA weighs all evidence in your claim file and reaches its own conclusion.
